Reflection
Experience
I have enriched my experience in Advanced Typography class. It was very challenging and I learned a lot from it. The task 1 exercises allowed me to experiment with type manipulation and layout. This practice was important which give me a foundation for the future works. The task 2 was interesting but it needs a lot of work. I have tried various color palettes to find the most suitable color in task 2. Moving on to task 3, I have an opportunity to create my own special typeface although I have same experience with Typography class. The difference is that I can create a complete set of the typeface. I think this is a good exprience for me to improved my design skill. All of the tasks have deepend my understanding and experiences, and I was appreciate with it.
Observation
Throughout the module, I observed that advanced typography have significant effect for communication and design. I have noticed that a slightly changes in type adjustments could greatly affect the readability and aesthetic of a design. Besides that, I observed that exploring the different typefaces and their characteristics is important for creating a good and impactful design.
Findings
Through task 1 and task 3, I discovered that the importance of precision and consistency in every design. The artwork should complement and enhance visual elements rather than compete with them. The explorations in task 3 revealed that each typeface can show a different feel and significantly influence the tone of a design.
